More whales awake (but this time it ain't BTC)

Two Ethereum wallets moved some cash for the first time in about 10 years.

And when I say 'some cash', I mean 1,140 ETH worth around $2.9 million, which is interesting because that's actually not a lot of cash. Not in the big scheme of things.

After all, 1,140 ETH was probably worth just a few hundred backs back that. If that.

These wallets saw their first transaction in 3,630 days, or 9.9 years, since July 30, 2015.

They're both referred to as GENESIS wallets.

The timing is interesting.

Because while on one hand I understand why BTC holders that have been sitting on their BTC for over a decade would want to sell, it's unclear why ETH wallets might want to sell.

Maybe it's because they feel like ETH won't go back to $5,000 or they can't be bothered to wait.
