Microsoft said NO

Microsoft said NO

By LeftFooted | bitcoinea | 10 Dec 2024

In what I personally regard as the least surprising bit of news today, Microsoft board said 'NO' to a proposal to add Bitcoin to its balance sheet.

This means Tesla is still the only top 10 company in the world holding BTC.

This isn't surprising at all.

Microsoft is a conservative company run by conservative people.

And I mean conservative in the literal sense of the world, NOT in the political sense of it.

Translated, when push comes to shove, Microsoft is a "because we've always done it this way" type of company.

While I personally do believe, obviously, this to be a mistake, I don't think it is the broader sense of the term.

Sooner or later, one of two things is going to happen. Either Bitcoin goes to 0, or if it doesn't (which it probably won't), all major companies, every single one of them, will cave in and add it to their balance sheet.
