MASSIVE Bitcoin whale moves funds for the first time

By LeftFooted | bitcoinea | 26 Mar 2024

The fifth-largest individual Bitcoin holder, who goes by 37x, has just moved around $6 billion worth of BTC to three new addresses.

This is the first time this particular Bitcoin stack has moved since 2019.

The whale moved 94,500 BTC, which is basically this holder's entire balance, to three separate addresses.

At the time of writing, 1.4 BTC is all that's left in the original wallet.

This is pretty unique.

Statistically, 'legacy' Bitcoin holders, so to speak, never sell.

It's like, the older the address, the more stubborn the owner.

Maybe this particular holder is looking to cash out and, with $6 billion in the bag, we wouldn't blame them.
