Germany missed out on billions of profit with its BTC

Back in the summer, the German government sold 50,000+ BTC, all of its Bitcoin, at $54,000.


Great. It was free money.


It was all money they'd seized as part of various criminal charges.


Except, maybe not that great.


Because Bitcoin's value has literally doubled since then, which means Germany has missed out on an additional profit of $2.4 billion.


And counting.
