So by now everyone knows about the 14-year-old whale that transferred 10,000 BTC they had been sitting on for 14 years.

On April 3, 2011, when Bitcoin was worth around $0.78 coins, a 12lTs wallet, ie one of the so-called legacy wallets, received 10,000 BTC.

This is a crucial bit of information, by the way.

Because, when you think about it, 10,000 BTC back then was still nearly 10,000 USD.

That's not bad for something this person probably received for free.

But either way, the point is, this person transferred 10,000 BTC in July 2025, thus reawakening for the first time in 14 years.

Just hours later, two more legacy addresses, 1GcCK and bc1qm, also transferred 10,000 BTC.

First of all, I have a feeling the same person owns all three addresses.

And if I'm mistaken, then at the very least they know each other. But that's not the point.

The point is, and some people have missed this, this person transferred 10,000 BTC without a test transaction.

Now, that's wild. When I have to send crypto from one address to another, I send a test transaction first.

Even if I know I'm gonna send like $100, I send $1 first.

But this person casually transferred the equivalent of $1 billion without batting an eyelid.

Then again if you have the guts to sit on 10,000 BTC for years, calmly refusing to cash in when it was worth millions or tens of millions or hundreds of millions, you've got guts to spare.
