Crypto is unbannable, and it's untaxable

It all boils down to one question: can you shut down the internet for everyone, everywhere, indefinitely?

If the answer's no, and it obviously is, then crypto is unbannable, and it's also untaxable.

It's been all over news, with The Netherlands asking its own people what they think about taxing crypto and Italy levying a 42 percent on capital gains on crypto investments.

Amazing. But also. Who gives a toss.

A rule, or a law, is only relevant if you can actually enforce it.

And, when it comes to crypto, most things are not enforceable.

You can't ban crypto, it is impossible.

You can tax crypto, but if a crypto investors decides not to pay, it is going to be extremely difficult for a government to find a way to get that tax cash.

And it also goes back to the age-old problem any country, anywhere, faces when they overtax.

People who CANNOT afford it, will stop doing whatever it is you're overtaxing them for: REDUCED TAX REVENUE.

People who CAN afford it, they'll simply move elsewhere. Malta, Monaco, Portugal, wherever residency is weeks away if you have money.

The result? REDUCED TAX REVENUE.

But they don't get it, and I can't blame them.

By definition, politicians are out of touch idiots - and that's the best-case scenario.
