So Logan Paul chose to sue Coffeezilla, roughly one year after saying he wouldn't.
I've watched a lot of videos on the subject, and I've given it some thought.
Everyone's convinced Coffeezilla will easily win, and I hope he will, no doubt, because I think he's great at what he does, because what he does is important, and because it would be unfair if he didn't win.
BUT.
But at the same time, Logan Paul is very rich, and one of the things you can buy with money is people who know what they're doing.
The way this lawsuits is structured makes me think that the five lawyers he hired carefully crafted it to make sure they at least have a good chance.
Coffeezilla is being specifically sued not for the famous three-part video series, but for a Tweet and two videos.
Lawyers get paid no matter what, that's true, but it's also true that this is a highly publicised case, so I'm assuming these five lawyers are still in to win it. Because if Paul loses, this is still a stain on their record as well, however small it may be. And I don't think it is that small.
And unfortunately lawsuits cost money, which Logan Paul has a lot of, whereas Coffeezilla surely has less, so this is also a way to tell people to leave him alone or get sued.
I'm just afraid people are considering this an easy win for Coffeezilla because they want him to win. And I understand that. But wanting an outcome doesn't guarantee it.
I hope he wins, but I'm not 100 percent sure he will.
