New crypto exchange "Koindex" will be opened in 18 August with a new exchange based coin which is called "Koin"
Koindex is a partnership between Japan and Turkey and the japanese partner invests 1 milion dollars for the New project.
"Koin" comes with some different speciliaties. For example its value will not effected by huge pumps and dumps because of its nature.
The value (pricing) of KOIN will be determined through KOIN Index. The KOIN index is a rules-based index designed to track Bitcoin’s price without exposing many risks to its volatility by creating a virtual portfolio including Bitcoin, Gold, and USD. It serves as a tool for passive investors who are going to invest in the growing Bitcoin market but want to hedge the volatility risk.
• For achieving its objectives, the KOIN Index has been designed with 4 main characteristics: Presents risk-adjusted performance of Bitcoin, replicable, transparent and stabilized against a market crash
• The starting weights of the index are arbitrary set on June 8th, 2020 as the following:
Bitcoin 20%, Gold 40%, USD 40%
• The weights are recalculated at the following events:
a. On the 1st day of every month
b. When one of the constituent’s closing price has increased or decreased by 10% from the previous day’s closing price
• This is designed to adjust the volatility of the index according to market trends.
•Total amount of issued KOINS will be on par with the fund management, trading mining, and market making requirements.
Koindex will disclose the total amount of issued KOIN's on a daily basis.
Beside the Koin, Koindex' fees will be 0.007% for traders and 60% of these fees will be paid to the users as the users hold Koin. Also mining Koin and steaking will be possible to get more Koin.
On 3 August deposits and withdrawals begins.
