It would seem something has transpired dubbed the "Crypto For Congress" program.

Aimed to help educate U.S lawmakers, Senators and others on Cryptocurrency, the Chamber of Digital Commerce has sent a total of $50.00 worth of Bitcoin to every U.S Member of Congress. This totals 541 members that will receive a wire for $50.00 worth of "American" Bitcoin. 

Deeming it American Bitcoin because it was mined and exchanged from within the good old U S of A!

The Blockchain advocacy group is looking to interest Congress and Lawmakers into taking Bitcoin more seriously so that the U.S doesn't fall to far behind in the Cryptocurrency wars.

In addition to the gift of Bitcoin, the advocacy group also sent a set of educational tools and links to help the Congress members learn a little more.

We thought this was rather ingenious, what an incredible way to show the elderly how to use Crypto ;-P
