The space travel, discovery and harvest for new resources blasts off up to the sky and create opportunities which soon might come to fruition. Thus there are some space related stocks on which we should keep an eye on.

Space pure plays:

  • Virgin Galactic (NYSE:SPCE), Richard Branson's space tourism venture, has gone public last year and is the primary publicly traded beneficiary of SpaceX's success. Its reservation list is of no less than 1,000 people signing to pay $250,000 for a space travel.
  • Maxar Technologies (NYSE:MAXR) - Focused on satellites, digital imagery, and analytics tools, strong government and commercial contracts, known as the source of many of the satellite images used by Alphabet's Google Maps product
  • Aerojet Rocketdyne (NYSE:AJRD) - Provides rocket engines for spaceships and satellites getting onto the orbit and beyond.

Diversified options:

  • Boeing (NYSE:BA) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) as part of the United Launch Alliance (ULA)
  • Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) - Rockets provider
  • Raytheon Technologies (NYSE:RTX) and L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) - Sensors and satellites manufacturers

While there is still much research before choosing one of the space companies that will provide as promised and that it make that some time, it is wise to consider their future and make them a part of your stocks investment portfolio. There is great potential and the technology closes the gap until easy discovery, travelling and harvesting resources from space will be possible.
