As we should all be used to by now Smoke.io’s front end is down due to server issues, again. Frustrating to say the least but the boss is on it so all we can do is wait... or is it?
Seems WLS was brought up in discussion, something about community tokens? I have no idea what anyone is blabbering about all I see is WLS everywhere... supposedly this chain is able to host community tokens. The idea was put forward to use Smoke to buy into WLS if I am not mistaken, not certain I am one for giving up our own chain...
Discussions after that included solutions to on boarding along with backup front end's and the complication of multiple results in search engines. Stoner did mention it would be a good idea for one of our community to host a backup of the front end, I kept my mouth shut as I started saying this with the first Smoke.io issues month;s ago... anyways I agree and wish I could figure out how to do so... @JRSwab is working on a system with Hot Box to allow anyone easy installation of full RPC and Front-End so I suppose my early grumblings were heard.
Standing here waving the willing flag just uncertain of what to do people... seems like people just wanna point in a direction without giving the details to individuals to make the path clear amongst the green. So many things I want to do, wish I had the money to throw at people and just get it done.... might be the reason I have none to begin with... I need a developer... someone whom like myself does things from a place of passion and not just profit... hard to find in this crypto space...
This has been a rough year and it has only just begun. I got a rig basically sitting here... wanting to make use of it but lack the skills in most cases I realize I need more then just help...
