growyourbase is a site that allows you to earn NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) by performing various actions.
It works like this:
- After registering and confirming our email (no KYC or other waste of time), go to the "earn" section and click on the various opportunities to earn GYB, the platform's own token. To earn GYB every opportunity offers some methods, rather simple things like watching a video on YouTube or visiting a website.
When we have reached a certain amount of GYB we can go to the Assets section and get some NFTs by "paying" with the GYBs obtained.
Seen like that, it looks pretty cool and simple.
In reality, using it, I must admit that the platform is rather poor: slow in loading, confusing, not very intuitive, lacking in information. In short, quite defective!
Among other things, they refuse to send ETH-based NFTs due to the high fees; in practice, to receive such NFTs one would have to pay the fees independently. As for the Wax NFTs, they can be withdrawn without problems.
However, without much effort, I managed to earn one NFT worth $ 7 now.
The lack of information is also reflected in the referral program, which is present but it is not known when it gives. Maybe I was not able to find this information, but in the FAQ it is not there, in the referral page there is not, in the profile page there is not ...
