I found this frog during my last mushroom hike in early September. This type of frog (Bufo) lives far from the water, for them the main thing is the presence of shady places, wherever the sun's rays would penetrate. That is why I often see such frogs in the forest where I go for mushrooms. Also Bufo love old cellars, where it's also damp and dark!
