This photo was made last year when I came across many different types of butterflies, not just Vanessa cardui. This kind of butterfly is called Papilio machaon and occurs throughout the territory of Ukraine. However, in our area, this species does not happen as often as I would like, because it is very beautiful. In these photos, the wings of the butterfly are not fully exposed, so you unfortunately can not fully see the beautiful colorful pattern on them. I then had a lens with a manual focus on the camera, so it was difficult for me to photograph this butterfly, because he waved his wings, the focus was constantly fading. However, I still want to share these photos with you. Enjoy!

Photo taken by me with the camera Olympus PEN EPL-7 with manual lens Helios 44-2.
