The leading NFT yield farming gaming project, Bunicorn.finance, will be crossing another significant milestone on its roadmap. This will be the launch of its play-to-earn adventure game, Bunicorn. This development is scheduled for the end of August, 2021. 

Earlier in March the Bunicorn.finance team announced the release of its first game, a Play-to-Earn NFT Card Game. The new release, which is centered around a fictional adventurous game in a different planet, is the meeting point of DeFi yield farming and NFT.

The Bunicorn play-to-earn adventure theme 

In a fairy planetary exploration, far away from planet earth, humans discovered and settled in a new planet, already inhabited by the Bunicorns. The Bunicorns are little magical creatures, like human pets, known to be friendly and hardworking.

The Bunni-land consists of four unified clans spiritually guarded by 3 Bunnicorn gods, represented by the elements fire, water, earth and air.

Eventually, after meeting with humans, greedy humans started exploiting the Bunicorns, such that they lost their homes. 

The players of this game are on the mission to help save the Bunicorn clans. With the help of the Trainer (an ingame Bunicorn character) players can help train the Bunicorns, by enhancing their abilities to protect themselves and also earn Buni tokens. 

The Bunicorn token is an ERC721 token existing in each players’ ERC wallet, which speaks of full autonomy to the players.

Exploring the Bunicorn in-game token (BUR)

In-game NFT traded exchangeable for fungible liquid tokens, is now becoming no news, in just one year, with several projects offering something similar. On the contrary, the Bunicorn approach is fusing play-to-earn NFT gaming at the heart of automated market making (AMM) with NFT Yield Farming. 

The Buni.finance team does this in such a way that gives every gamer the chance to make a living off gaming on Buni.finance.

As at the time of writing the Bunicorn token has a total value locked up (TVL) OF $28M from its IDO in July. Already the Kyber network has invested in Bunicorn.finance.

That being said, the BUR token presents three significant usage points. The brilliance of the BUR token is that for the most part, usage results in burning of the BUR token during usage. 

By extension, this practice eventually supplements the BUR purchasing power in the market. 

The BUR token ingame usage will be:

• Yield farming with BUR: players can stake BUR tokens in the Bunicorn.finance staking farms. For starters players will be rewarded the Bunicorn water element for staking. 
• The Bunicorn water element sharpened as eggs is the first form of Bunicorn NFT tokens on the Bunicorn play-to-earn meterverse. These eggs will eventually hatch into actual Bunicorns when users begin playing the Bunicorn game.

• The Bunicorn eggs will be distributed via NFT farming. It also won't be available for sale on any marketplaces or in Bunicorn games.
• Ingame fusion and burning: to move past major checkpoints in Bunicorn, players are required to fuse two same-level Trainers together, into one boosted version to allow them through. 
• This action requires BUR tokens and these tokens are burnt out of circulation.
• Bunicorn enhancement and burning: this allows to improve the performance stats of ingame Bunicorn characters. 
• To achieve this Players will have to merge several Bunicorns. This process also costs BUR tokens, which are subsequently burnt out of circulation.

What to expect from the Bunicorn token

The Bunicorn liquidity mining model is all new. This is such that the farming rewards are vested as NFT BUR tokens, wrapped as collectibles. 

So unlike other yield farming platforms where users collect and dump their rewards, the vesting period reduces the effect of price dumps.

Also, the BUR token will allow for exchanges at low manageable and relatively stable price rates.

Also, the Buni.finance team will be distributing a portion of the game’s revenue to holders for being a part of the Bunicorn community.
