With the growth of Cryptocurrencies, came another growth. The growth of hackers and scammers trying to rob you of your hard earned funds. These hackers are smart and are always looking for flaws and lapses to be able to get in and do away with your money. Today let's look at some ways to ensure maximum security for your wallets and ensure that you do not lose any of your assets.
First, learn to spread your currencies across various wallets. Personally, I would recommend that you use two or three (at most) digital wallets to store your currencies. You should have a wallet for trading from which you can easily send Cryptos to the exchanges and maybe one or two more for simply storing and HODLING your savings. Always remember to please keep your private keys and/or pneumonic or seed phrase in a very secure place, most preferably offline. For the security of your money, nothing should be seen as extreme be willing to go to whatever length to keep them safe.
Second, try as much as possible to not log into your wallet with a public Wi-Fi. Pls avoid using public Wi-Fi like the plague, this is because they are notorious for being used to hack into people's phones so avoid them. Also, do your best to keep a tab on the wallet transactions. Set up notifications for monitoring the wallet. This is so that in case someone hacks it and wants to send out your money, you are notified either through email or through SMS. From there you can block it or safeguard it better.
Third, be very wary of Phishing attempts. Your private keys can get hacked through phishing scams where theyaybe send you an email telling you something is wrong with your account. When you click the link and submit your details, you're giving it to them and they can now access your account. They also carry out phishing through Google Ads, so pls avoid clicking on those tempting ads. I would advise that you use Brave Browser, because they block any ads coming to you and thereby protect you better than Google. Register with Brave here with this link:

Fourth, always double and even maybe triple check the address you are sending to (especially if it's a large amount). Some would advise that you first send a smaller payment to the address to verify and when you're sure you can make the larger payments. Personally though, I just double check with my eyes but anyone that works for you, you can employ.
Lastly, as a security measure also please enable the 2-factor authentication. It is a second authentication apart from maybe the password to be sure you are the one making the transaction. An OTP might be sent to your phone or email, or it might ask for biometric identification to validate the transaction.
With this piece of information, hope you're safer and your bag increases.
