There are a couple of crypto faucet & paid-to-click (P2C) sites I'm running currently when I'm working from home, and I have to admit - I do occasionally check out some of the P2C ads as they pop up. A few weeks ago I saw one advertising ten free coins ahead of a public offering (supposedly in November 2022) for a project called INDXcoin. I hadn't done too much research into crypto giveaways and airdrops at the time, but I thought I'd sign-up with my throw-away email and see if I could learn more.

What Do You Get From INDXcoin by Signing Up?
Simply signing up with your first name and email will get you ten free INDXcoins. Once logged in, you can earn one more each by both joining their community forum and by visiting the main website. Furthermore, you can get another three coins for each referral you capture for INDXcoin. All in all, it's a pretty easy lift to grab yourself a dozen or more coins.
What's the Value of INDXcoin?
Essentially, INDXcoin's value is derived by adding up the top 100 coins (by market cap), dividing that by 100, and then again by the total supply of one billion.

A Surprising Targeted Userbase for INDXcoin
While surfing through the give-away page and the main website, there's nothing too out of the ordinary compared to other altcoin marketing I've seen. But once I signed up for the community forum, I noticed there were two main channels - one for INDXcoin Updates, and another for Kingdom Wealth. I clicked on the latter, and saw quite a few posts with language I'd usually associate with evangelical Christianity. Posts regarding testimonies, praise reports, and faith-based monetary topics like tithing and prosperity.
I found the INDXcoin white paper on the main website, and sure enough, there's several references to Kingdom Wealth and faith-based crypto currency. On pages 21 & 22 of the white paper, the project lists it's four target audiences, specifically listing Christian believers as the number one target userbase:
With over 2.18 billion Christians spread across over two hundred countries around the globe, the INDX platform has as one of its specific aims to become the platform of choice for every believer while also helping inspire and strengthen their spiritual lives. Any individual can purchase INDXcoin, but the INDX team is passionate about serving this specific multi-generational audience for a variety of reasons.
Conclusion
Regardless of anyone's personal feelings about any particular religion, this plot twist to the INDXcoin story definitely caught my attention. I don't think I've yet seen any other crypto project target a specific religious community, but the results could end up being quite interesting for churches and other faith-based institutions hoping to dip their toes into cryptocurrency.
