Every day we overcome fear with hopes that there will be good outcomes. Every time we try to become better people, the fear of failure is always right behind our back. Fear of looking foolish, fear of losing friendships, fear of losing money, fear of being alone, fear of being broke and unemployed, fear of getting old and not having enough resources to make ends meet.
The only way to triumph over these fears is to confront them again and again until they eventually get weaker and subside. We push them aside in the hope that eventually we will become better people.
We may fail in a few attempts but if we don't try, we'll never grow stronger or wiser. I went through this for the past two years where I am now a successful cartoonist after failing twice. It was the death of my mother and poverty that made me realize life isn't as easy as it seems.
Setbacks are not failures but lessons learned. Work harder and your dreams will come true one day.
One question that has bothered all of us at one time or another is, "how to confront my fear?" Whether it is fear of heights, fear of rejection, fear of failure and so on. There's one common thing about all or these, they are all the same in one way or another, we are afraid to confront them.
