Hey there!
So it's finally time to go back to university and that means leaving my hometown. I have almost completed my packing, just a few grocery items are left. I wanted to write a blog on this because unlike all the past years where I was always upset to go to school/college after summer holidays, I'm actually excited to get back to work.
These were the first ever vacations in my lifetime as far as I can remember that I had nothing to do in, specifically no homework. I had decided from the start of the holidays that I would do atleast 2 courses but boy was I lazy. I had never been like this before. In all my vacations as soon as my homework would end mum would make me and my siblings clean the whole house like the doors and the upper cabinets and the attic, but this time since I had come from another city I got treated like a VIP XD. As I was already lazy this added fuel to the fire and I literally spent my whole day either on my laptop or phone or tv.
I think one of the reasons could also be that this was my first time living in a hostel as a student. At first I was super chill cz I wouldn't be doing household chores like doing dishes for a family of 6 and cleaning (brooming & mopping the whole house) but it was way tougher in other parameters. It's like the time you wake up your brain starts planning the whole day and also allocating the amount of money that I would spend because I have a very limited budget. To be honest, I enjoyed this experience alot! I really like to plan my days even when I was at home. It may sound weird but I get really awkward when someone asks me what my hobbies are because I don't have time for any hobbies.
At home my day would include studying, doing chores, teaching my sibings and exercise. In university it was more like cooking, studying sleeping and yes there's 1 thing I like to do and that's playing computer games, so on Friday nights I play games. I did, however, grow tired of all this and when the end of 2nd semester I arrived I could barely wait to come home. When I came back I was so relaxed as I didn't have to worry about making my own breakfast or how I would manage my whole day in this money. This also placed great love and admiration for my parents in my heart.
The growth that I saw in returning this time was that I was more excited and relaxed too. I've even packed decoration items for my room! I pray that you all also get to experience growth in your life !
Have a good day!
