Hi there, welcome to another article about the BabySNEK brand if you've been following me you'll know I cover news and updates from the BabySNEK project if you're new here I will post all of the BabySNEK related articles at the end of this article.

For the new comers, Sneklets are another product the BabySNEK Brand possesses, we have plushies, YouTube monetization and the Sneklets NFTs.

What Are Sneklets?

Sneklets are crypto mining Nfts on the Cardano network they use a CIP-68 dynamic metadata to serve as a unique digital asset and a key to our mining and staking system. There are only a total of 7,777 NFTs in the total supply. BabySneklets integrates blockchain art and real-world rewards on a gamified platform leveraging both on-chain and off-chain resources. The core idea is to offer a fun, engaging experience while seamlessly integrating with crypto-mining revenue streams.

Purpose: Provide an entertaining, gamified NFT experience that goes beyond typical digital collectibles.

Vision: Bridge the gap between playful blockchain collectibles and tangible crypto-mining rewards, creating a sustainable, community-driven ecosystem.

The Lore & Miniverse

What makes these Sneklets NFTs is that it comes with 4 different elements:

Earth (“Steady as a boulder.”) Dependable and hardworking, Earth Sneklets dig deep—both literally and figuratively—to uncover Stardust. They favor stability and patience, often acting as the grounded voice of reason.
Wind (“Catch me if you can!”) Agile and curious, Wind Sneklets thrive on movement and exploration. Their restless nature drives them to chase rumors of Stardust across the skies, leaving a whirlwind of excitement in their wake.
Fire (“Everything’s better with explosions!”) Bold and energetic, Fire Sneklets are the thrill-seekers of the Miniverse. They’re known for diving headfirst into danger, often using their fierce passion to outmaneuver rivals.

Ice (“Chill… everything is under control.”) Calm and strategic, Ice Sneklets rarely act on impulse. They bide their time, quietly amassing Stardust while keeping their competition literally on ice.

Enter The Miniverse

Deep Digs (Earth Zone) A network of underground tunnels brimming with minerals and hidden caches of Stardust. The air is thick with dust, and the ground occasionally tremors from the unending excavation efforts of Earth Sneklets.
Lava Lands (Fire Zone) A volcanic landscape of molten rock and geysers of flame. Rich deposits of Stardust form near the lava flows, but harvesting them is a perilous task suited only for the bravest—or most reckless—of miners.
Sky Cliffs (Wind Zone) Towering cliffs and floating islands buffeted by powerful winds. Stardust is scattered across these high-altitude expanses, requiring agility and quick thinking to collect. Wind Sneklets excel in these breezy domains.

Frozen Fields (Ice Zone) An icy tundra of snow-capped peaks and hidden caverns. Stardust here is locked beneath thick sheets of ice, requiring patience and precision to uncover. Ice Sneklets find this frigid environment ideal for their measured approach.

Sneklets Characters

What makes these NFTs awesome is they're not just pictures on the internet which sell for a few bucks, each character (Fire, Wind, Earth, Ice) come with unique abilities.

Wind: Aero is as quick as a lightning strike and as free as the open skies. With unmatched agility, Aero navigates the floating isles and stormy peaks, uncovering hidden caches of Stardust and evading danger with ease.

Ice: Methodical and calm under pressure, Cryo thrives in the deepest ice caverns and frozen wastelands, extracting rare crystalline Stardust encased in ancient glaciers.

Fire: If mining can’t be done with sheer force, Pyra isn’t interested. A fiery personality with a knack for controlled explosions, Pyra excels at blasting through obstacles and uncovering massive Stardust deposits buried deep underground.

Earth: Unshaken by chaos, Terra is the anchor of the mining crew, carefully carving paths through rugged mountains and deep caverns. Terra specializes in structural integrity, ensuring no Stardust deposit is left behind.

The Staking rewards are distributed across three core categories:
69% to holders
21% to project growth
10% to the team
The holder reward breakdown - 69% allocated to holders is further divided:
75% equally shared by all staked NFTs
22% distributed via Region Bonuses
3% allocated to 1:1 Legendary NFTs
The longer you stake, the greater your base rewards:

Duration and Rewards Earned: 4+ weeks - 100%

Duration and Rewards Earned: 2–3 weeks - 80%

Duration and Rewards Earned: 0–1 week - 60%

How Sneklets Staking Works
A commonly asked question amongst the community: Do I need to re-stake each month?
No — re-staking is not required. As long as your staking region and conditions remain unchanged, your Time Bonus continues to accumulate automatically. There’s no need to re-stake each month to maintain or increase your bonus.
What happens if I change my staking region?
If you move your BabySneklet to a different region or opt into a Region Bonus Event:

Your Time Bonus resets to 60%

Any bonus accumulated above 60% is permanently burned

The new Region Bonus is applied based on your selected location

Note: Region Bonuses are often tied to special events and may vary over time. Keep an eye out for active bonus events on our platform.
This system encourages long-term staking while allowing flexibility to pursue event-based opportunities when they arise.
