The Wizard, decrepit,
Has poisoned his bones,
His lust is for wisdom,
His marriage to tomes.
Layer by layer,
His flesh rots away,
His quest all consuming,
His heart all decayed.
Never achieving,
That which he seeks,
And not understanding,
The sorrow he reaps.
