Shake pay recently revamped their user interface and I have to say I liked the app before and I love it even more now. Everything is so clean and easy to understand. They even provide some stats to make it easy to see how valuable this app is.
Hard to argue with 164,276 sats for free.
Two quick comments.
1. Shake Pay is the gift that keeps on giving.
and
2. If you live in Canada and are interested in building a crypto position, you have to be using Shake Pay.
Not only can you easily add sats through shaking your phone daily (Shake Sats), daily purchases (Cash Back and Round Up), through other peoples purchases (Shake Squad) but I have discovered that they will just send you some Bitcoin for some reason.
I opened my app for my morning shake and I noticed that I had noticeably more Bitcoin than I though I should. I figure it was just a cashback coming through, but it was something else. The new interface makes it very clear what happened. I got Shake Paid!
Obviously the next step is trying to figure out what that means, how it happened, why it happened, and how I can make it happen again. So I clicked on the shake paid line item which brought me to this page.
Unfortunately the "Tap here for more information" link is broken. But my best guess is they are gifting me my Bitcoin purchases from last month. Keen and observant readers will remember last month a Receipt Hog payment came through and I matched that with some Cambly money. These two purchases equal the amount that was gifted to me.
In March I gave Shake Pay a rushed 3 out of 5 stars. In April I upgraded Shake Pay to 5 out of 5 Stars. Which although deserving, was premature. I did not leave myself any room because I did not think there would be any improvement.
I wish I could give Shake Pay a better score. I maintain the 5 star rating and would like to emphasize that If you are in Canada and into Crypto Shake Pay is essential and you should add it right now.
