Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin explained how network scaling will grow after the transition to version 2.0. At the initial stage, the blockchain will be able to process about 2,000 transactions in 1 second.

First of all, the project team intends to optimize the scalability of the data, the next task will be the optimization of calculations. This process can drag on for 3-5 years and the transaction limit in the Ethereum blockchain will gradually increase. At the final stage it is planned to achieve a speed of 100 thousand transactions per second.
