What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying your life with your family and friends and also enjoying this beautiful summer season, especially if you live in cold countries. However the case is not same here, because in here the summer brings heat wave with him and burns us for months and we just got relieved from that after experiencing the first rainfall in our area yesterday. So I am enjoying the pleasant and temporary weather while it lasts as the summer will shine back on us soon if no rainfall again. Now, talking about my favourite web3 game splinterlands, I am playing the current ranked actively and right now battling at Diamond I tier with a present trophy rating of 3,440. With another around 6 days left for this season to end, I will try my best to reach the Champion league and hope you all have made your own strategies too to reach your goals in this ongoing ranked season. Anyway, As I have been seeing the new airdrop card Venka is getting quite popular in battles and no doubt it is already proved to be a fantastic killing machine and deadly if you cant stop him. Those who have a max level Venka are really performing well everywhere in the game and I am also thinking to rent this monster to test it myself if it brings me more wins in ranked, brawls and tourneys.

Now moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be discussing about another great Modern card that will quite popular as a attacker card and for its great ability combo. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about USUT, so without further ado, let us start.

USUT

USUT is one of the newly introduced monster cards in the game that that came with the chaos rebellion edition and it has gained trust since then and being used frequently by many players in the game. This monster belongs to the Death element and it costs 10 mana to be used in battles. The rarity of this card is legendary and the attack type of this monster is Magic and with bloodlust ability, it is sometimes powerful enough to bring you some kills and assists in the game if used well. Now, let us find out about the league wise stats and abilities of this monster below to know more about him.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster possesses 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 4 armour and 9 health along with 2 abilities - Flying and Bloodlust where with the the bloodlust ability, it’s all stats get increased every time it kills Down an enemy card and in the other side, the flying ability will help him to evade more attacks from non flying melee and ranged cards. So as you can see, this monster is powerful even at bronze level thanks to its decent attack stats and ability combos.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster to level 2, it gets the same 2 attack at 1 speed with 4 armour and an increased 10 health along with a new ability called Oppress which will help with 2x damage on attack less cards. So now you have a attack less tank card killer so use it according may benefit you.

GOLD

At level 3, this monster’s stats increased further overall as it gets 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 4 armour and 11 health along with a new ability called Heal. With this new ability now it can heal back a portion of its health if wounded. So on long going matches, thus monster with its heal can be your good friend.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

When you finally upgrade this monster to level 4, it possesses an increased attack of 3 at the same 1 speed, 4 armour and 11 health along with all those 4 abilities that I mentioned above and does not get any new at this level.

BATTLE STAT

This time I was looking for a medium to large range mana battle use this monster and playing for a while, I finally got a suitable match with 43 mana limit where only 2 elements were allowed to choose from- Death and Dragon. There were 2 rulesets applied in this match Even Stevens where only monster with even mana cost can be used and all enrage ability. So after thinking a bit, I choose to use my Death summoner Brood and selected the Xenith Monk at front, followed by Grimbardun Warrior, Skok, Will-O-Wisp, USUT and Doctor Blight at the last position.

When both the match lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent has used Dragon summoner Akane against me and he chose Grimbardun at his front followed by Rage, Sevaya, Magi of chaos, Necrosi and Corpse Fiend at the end. As I am using the USUT, it will help me by doing double damage to the enemy grimbardun because its an attack less card and also, I will weaken the opponent’s all magic attacks by my summoner and will-o-wisp. So as I expected, I decreased all of those enemy magic card’s attack power and also attacked them Well in the battle and snatched the victory at last.

I hope all of you enjoyed watching the match that I shared above and talked about and also liked reading my post. Let me know your thoughts about USUT in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
