The Screwdriver is a classic cocktail of orange juice and vodka. Typically 2 parts OJ, 1 part vodka, and some optional ice. It's not a very exciting drink, and usually abandoned after college when one gets a taste for other spirits. I've encountered a few different mixtures though, which, I think deserve to be written down. Vodka brands are just what I had at the time. Feel free to use whatever brand you like.
The Original Screw Driver
- 1 part Vodka
- 2 parts Orange Juice
- Ice

The Student Driver - I learned this one from a dropout (Naming credit is his) who succeeded in getting himself so inebriated he put his hand through a glass window, passed out, and had to get his stomach pumped. He drank the Sunny D and filled the negative space in the bottle with vodka. WARNING: That's how one gets a big hospital bill. For non-US readers, Sunny D is a sugary, orange-flavored kids drink.
- 1 part Vodka (Orloff)
- 2 parts Sunny D
- Ice optional

The Limo Driver - Dare I say the classy version? If you can't get Orangina near you, any carbonated orange drink (that contains a little real orange juice) will suffice. This one was my own creation. My first time I used the technique described above, drinking the Orangina and filling the negative space with vodka. Yup, I got sick. Please learn from my (and friends) mistakes.
- 1 part Vodka (Belvedere)
- 2 parts Orangina
- Orange Zest
- Chilled, no ice

The Drill/Driver Combo - Health benefits have not been studied! In place of Emergen-C, any high vitamin C, immunity boosting supplement will do. I.E. Airborn.
- 1 part Vodka (Smirnoff)
- 1 packet Emergen-C (orange flavor)
- 3 parts Water (room temperature)

The Burr Hole - To my knowledge no one has made this, and I don't recommend that they do. Some creative endeavors like this are best left to the imagination.
- 3 parts Crushed Orange Juice Concentrate
- 1 part Moonshine
- 1 part Water
