6 Thai-Born Crypto Coins You Should Know Updated for 2025

By TonyPechsook | ThailandCrypto | 28 Apr 2025

Hello there!
This is my second article, and I would like to present a topic about the opportunity to hold crypto coins that could have a promising future in Thailand in 2025

the year when Thailand is expected to launch a pilot program allowing foreigners to buy and sell cryptocurrencies within the country. (It is anticipated to begin around October this year, starting in Phuket Province.)

Over time, there have been several crypto coins created in Thailand, and some of them might have a bright future ahead. So, I’d like to take this opportunity to gather and introduce them to you, hoping it could help you expand your crypto financial planning for the future.

Now, let’s explore together which Thai-born crypto coins are worth knowing about!

1. Kub Coin
The first Thai crypto coin is called Kub Coin, developed by Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd. You could say that it is the signature coin of Thailand's leading crypto exchange, Bitkub.

One of the main highlights of Kub Coin is that it is used as a Gas Fee on the Bitkub Chain and within the entire Bitkub ecosystem, including various other projects on the Bitkub Chain.

The coin was launched at an initial price of 30 THB. Today, Bitkub Exchange boasts over 200,000 monthly active users and holds the title of the number one crypto exchange in Thailand.

An advantage of Kub Coin is that you can also purchase it through international exchanges such as Gate.io.

If you are interested in collecting coins from major exchange-backed projects, Kub Coin is definitely one to watch.

2. FDM Token (FDM)
The second Thai crypto coin is called FDM Token, which serves as the official token of Bitazza Thailand, one of the leading crypto exchanges in the country. Its main highlight is its use within the Bitazza ecosystem — including trading fee discounts and access to various exclusive privileges.

Although it may not be as widely known as Kub Coin, it remains quite interesting.

Bitazza is currently considered the second-largest exchange among Thai traders, and it also offers a crypto debit card that allows Thai users to make purchases directly with cryptocurrency.

Another important highlight is that foreigners can purchase FDM Token through Bitazza Global. So, you too can own this token with ease.

3. JFIN Token (JFIN)
The third Thai crypto coin was developed by J Ventures, a subsidiary of J Mart Group in Thailand, and is called JFIN Token.

This coin was first launched in 2018 and is considered one of the first legally compliant ICOs in Thailand.

The main highlight of JFIN is that it was designed to serve as the primary currency for transactions within the J Mart Group's ecosystem — including purchasing goods, paying for services, and accumulating reward points in the future.

In addition, JFIN has developed the JFIN Wallet, allowing users to store, transfer, and exchange JFIN tokens easily. It also aims to support various digital services in the future, such as financial services, insurance, and more.

Currently, JFIN Token is listed on Bitkub and Coinstore. However, for maximum account security, it is recommended to accumulate and trade JFIN on Bitkub, a Thai exchange regulated by the Thai SEC, especially if you are interested in holding this token safely.

4. Six Token (SIX)
The fourth Thai crypto coin is Six Token, developed by SIX Network.
The project aims to build a digital ecosystem for creators and general users, focusing primarily on NFTs and DeFi applications.

SIX Network is recognized as one of Thailand’s most active and continuously developing blockchain projects during 2023–2025, and its price movements have also been quite interesting to observe.

Today, you can own SIX Token through global exchanges such as Bitget, MEXC, Gate.io, and others.

From my personal perspective, SIX Token is definitely one of the most promising coins to watch.

If Thailand continues to open up further toward the crypto industry, this token could have even greater growth potential in the future.

5. OmiseGO (OMG Network)
OmiseGO, now known as OMG Network, was developed by Omise (currently SYNQA). It is a platform that focuses on providing decentralized financial services and has collaborated with major investment groups from Japan.

This coin gained significant popularity in Thailand during the early days of the crypto market here, as there were very few successful and well-known crypto projects in the country at that time.

Although today the project has been acquired by Genesis Block Ventures (GBV) in 2020 to accelerate growth and expand support for DeFi and other blockchain projects, the development activities around OMG Network continue — including plans to expand into NFT and Web3 ecosystems.

You can easily own this coin through major global exchanges around the world.

6. Alpha Finance Lab (ALPHA)
Alpha Finance Lab, commonly known by its ticker ALPHA, is a crypto project founded by a team of Thai developers.
It focuses on building a comprehensive ecosystem of decentralized finance (DeFi) products.

The main goal of Alpha is to create platforms that improve accessibility to DeFi products, making them easier to use, more secure, and capable of operating across multiple blockchains (Cross-Chain compatibility).

Personally, I am not very familiar with this project yet.

However, it definitely remains one of the notable Thai-founded crypto projects worth mentioning.

Aside from the Thai crypto coins I have gathered for you here, there are also several new Thai crypto projects expected to launch on Thailand’s trading platforms in 2025.

By knowing this information early, you’ll have a solid foundation to prepare for potential future investments, and if you plan to visit Thailand or settle down here, you may even find opportunities to use your crypto for everyday spending.
