Welcome back everyone! Today, I’ll be covering all the latest updates from Function Island since my last article. From the launch of $xLUSD, to some sneak peeks of our upcoming mystery launch, to the launch of several new LP pools with $ISLAND, and more, we’ve been very busy! We also have plenty more upcoming developments to share, so stay tuned folks!
$xLUSD Launch
Firstly, we are pleased to announce that we have launched $xLUSD in collaboration with the Degen Protocol! Using $pLUSD, it functions exactly like $GOAT, $xISLAND, $xFARM and $xIDAI (which is also a new development)! For those of you who don’t already know, there’s a 5% mint and redemption fee, with the relative price of $xLUSD to $pLUSD only ever increasing! Furthermore, we recently had an AMA where we discussed this with both the Degen Protocol and $pLUSD, which can be found here.
Sneak Peeks
Secondly, we have been working on a HUGE new launch/development for Function Island that will bring high yield and a brand new wave of utility! Just recently, we released some sneak peeks surrounding this mystery utility, which can be seen below.
What exactly could this be? Stay tuned folks, because there will be a massive opportunity for those who are vigilant within the next few weeks!
New $ISLAND LP Pools
Thirdly, we are excited to share that we have added two new LP pools for $ISLAND that distribute $ISLAND as rewards. Introducing: The ISLAND-CAMEL and ISLAND-BANANA LP Pools! Courtesy of our partners over at The Camel Clan and PrimeApe respectively, you can now stake these pairs to earn $ISLAND on our website! Both of these pairs are also hosted on our Function Island DEX, which can be found here. We have plenty more planned with these partners, including some upcoming AMAs, so keep your eyes peeled!
Function Island PulseChain Coverage
Furthermore, we are happy to announce that we have been getting some coverage of Function Island all over PulseChain! Recently, our partner over at The Camel Clan, Fast Abdoul, gave us a shoutout on TripletDad007’s livestream! He talked about our newest ISLAND-CAMEL LP pool, and we are excited to build even further for both The Camel Clan and all of PulseChain as a whole! The livestream recording can be found here.

Now this article wouldn’t be complete without the mention of the legendary work by one of our veteran community members, Cool Sheet! He made his very own song about Function Island, featuring none other than our dev, Donny D! This is definitely worth a listen, and you guys can find the video here!
Continuation of $FARM Updates
Finally, we are would like to share that our $FARM update as per our last article is still in effect. Since the completion of that article, we have also discontinued the IMPLS-FARM pool, further reducing the sell pressure on $FARM in anticipation of our HUGE new launch that will be happening very soon!
