Welcome back folks! Today, I’ll be sharing some more news about Function Island and what we've been doing within the last few weeks. From our AMA with $pLUSD, to some updates with our Island Farms, to the introduction of TidalWave V2 and more, there’s plenty of exciting things occurring on The Island! 😎
$pLUSD AMA
Firstly, we are pleased to announce that we hosted an AMA with our partner, $pLUSD! On July 23rd, I had the pleasure of speaking with TommyWeb3, where we discussed all of the partnerships, upcoming developments and the core utilities of $pLUSD! Furthermore, we discussed how Function Island has their very own pLUSD-iDAI pool! We also gave away 100 $ISLAND, with plenty more giveaways coming in the near future! The AMA can be found here.
Island Farm Updates
Secondly, there have been some updates to our Island Farms that we wish to share. The pDAI-FARM, PLSX-FARM and the iDAI-FARM pools have been discontinued, and can be found under the “Retired Farms” section of our website. This was done in order to reduce the emissions of $FARM and reduce the sell pressure on the token!
TidalWave V2
Thirdly, it is our pleasure to announce that we have updated our TidalWave contract! For those of you who don’t already know, TidalWave is a contract that uses $PLS to deposit into various passive income protocols on PulseChain, such as LiquidLoans. Through this V2 update, TidalWave has now started depositing in both IMPLS Finance’s revenue share pool and our very own $ISLAND Rewards contract! We are planning on adding many more to this list, so stay tuned!
DEX Milestone
On another note, we are pleased to announce that our Function Island DEX has reached almost $18k in liquidity! With some super secret developments that are currently in the works, we are certain that this number will only keep growing! 👀
