You and me
Even when you’re very far.
Even if you were a star.
I’d take a deep breath,
and with all of my might,
I’d blow away clouds
and sleep with your undying light.
I have accepted silver, like I do.
I see the colors that I’ve shown you
all the time.
Up in the air.
Like the Northern Light,
but everywhere.
It's your time to shine.
It's your time to shine.
I’ve never managed to make you mine.
We existed.
We were there.
Put it on,
the one-hit wonder of success.
Play it every day
to drag you out of any mess.
I’m staying right here.
In isolation.
Inside my head.
Inside my own creation.

You and me
