Us & Them
The spider,
crawling in the web.
The unmovable rock
protecting the flock.
A symbol of good,
provider of food.
And us,
planets,
in favor of the most high.
We see the heavens,
calculate odds,
and we feel better.
It is written in stars:
we will end up together.
For Her
The creepy, hollow, empty stare.
There are these signs, like everywhere.
Was I born?
Did I die alone?
Do I move things when there's no one home?
There's a queen with whom I cannot be.
Unholy shades that comfort me.
Silent present,
silent past,
silent future,
empty cast.

Us and Them, For Her
