Maddy
She was just there.
Really came out of nowhere.
She seemed to know.
Just where she was going.
Two unfolding souls
in a place made to lie.
In the middle of one night.
Where bad guys get robbed
and go down with no fight.
This is my kind of place.
She’s my kind of hell.
As our stories were told.
Faith held one of its own.
Having her close.
With a world in between.
Two imploding hearts
in a moment of truth.
Still repeating in my head.
I still look to the sky.
In the hope to catch a glimpse.
Oh, that beautiful mind.
