Love Your Time

Love Your Time

After all this time,
I haven’t learned anything,
but I’m starting to live.

After trying to survive
and just dying in your arms,
now I’m starting to live.

Love awaits, so I was told.
After many years, I realized
it was love he sold.

Paying with time I did not have.
He’s presenting me the bill,
and I’m all out of time.

“If you don’t trust life,
there is no reason to return.”

After hating love
and having an affair with ignorance,
I’m starting to die.

After leaving people I love
out in the dark,
Hell-hound's starts to bark.

Hate is your companion, I was told.
After many years, I realized
it was hate he sold.

Paying with time I did not have.
He’s presenting me the bill,
and I’m all out of time.

“If you don’t trust death,
you own no confidence at all.”
