We're a never-ending cycle,
a clock that's turning back.
Stand there on the edge of my soul,
with my heart string round your neck.
Trust me now, and close your eyes;
let me burn your lonely flag.
You search for daylight, and I'm on fire;
my nights couldn't be lit up much higher.
I've been holding you inside my mind
for as long as I can say.
Faithful that the years would show
that you could find a way.
Medulla oblongata.
Don't ignore the lower brain.
Find a way to be with me,
cause you're driving me insane.
