I saw you again today.
Well, she looked like you anyway.
Her style, just so genteel.
Made me feel like a garbage can.
Now I think of our past.
In your life, I was a late-night guest.
And while you were baking bread.
You did lose track of all you had.
Our time, it came way too soon.
And a hero bought you the moon.
I ended up lost in bed.
Without you is like being dead.
Hiding with a different name.
Your soul's like one in a trillion.
Perhaps another time,
I will pick you out of a zillion.
