Contrition
I see the sun, now that I have seen what life could have been like if I had only won.
I hear the rain, now that I have cried forever without feeling the pain.
I feel the wind, freeing me from lies and demons; they've followed me for years, all seasons.
I feel the cold now. My feelings are frozen from the life I've chosen.
A lonely, heartbreaking, unwritten letter. How come only unanswered feelings matter?
There's a flute, a piano, and a calming string. There's nothing like dying in the bloom of spring.
