Christmas

Christmas

It's Christmas. The time to be alone has come.

Once again, the two longest days of the year are here.

My younger self wouldn't have survived if he had known.

His wholesome heart. The purest of souls. It's good he never knew.

Tears would roll down his little cheeks if he was told, "All alone, you will grow old."
