Why I Love Wildlife Photography #1
Why I Love Wildlife Photography #1

One of the things I'm most passionate about is wildlife photography (and videography). There's something amazingly fulfilling about waiting for a while and eventually sharing a special and unique moment with an animal displaying a specific behaviour, and capturing it forever on film.

Here are some of my favorite shots, recently taken while in Florida:

:

This American alligator spotted around Lettuce Lake in Tampa, FL, had an amazing haircut. When coming out of the densely covered water, some plants stay on their bodies and get stuck as they dry, giving them this very fashionable look.

:

I just love how cute this gray squirrel was. Somehow, he looked like an old man waiting for the bus.

:

The look this muscovy duck was giving me is priceless, making sure I was capturing it on its best angle.

:

This male brown anole extended its dewlap and bobbed his head as I got closer, marking its territory.

All of these were shot with a Lumix G7 and a 45-150mm lens.
