How many times have you made the New Year resolutions, that were about to get broken the very moment you wake up the day after? How many times have you said to yourself, "I will quit smoking once I finish this pack", or, "I will start exercising after this bag of chips", or "I will start studying the next week"?
Possibly one of the worst decisions you can make is to embed the "someday" into your resolutions, 'cause, when is Someday? I've heard of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but I've never heard of a day called "Someday"! You might be waiting for a long time for Someday to arrive!
That's why I tell you not to wait for a certain day or time of the year to change your mind, your conditions, thus, your life! The best time and place are right here, and right now. Start with what you have this very moment, and do what you can do!
Do not wait for a certain person to inspire you, or desires to motivate you. The only thing you need to start the journey is the mind! Renew your mind, and start right away! That is the guarantor of a change, 'cause you are never going to get any further in life than the ideas you have about yourself (and life in general) in your mind.
Many people don't want to change their thinking, and they don't want to change their minds. People want to change everyone and everything but themselves. But if you are waiting for someone else or something else to bring success and prosperity to you, you will never succeed and prosper.
If you don't have the good you want to have, it may be because of your "someday" attitude.
"Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" Romans 12:2
That means if you are experiencing limitation and you want to experience abundance, you must change your mind about yourself.
Here is what you should be doing instead: "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think on such things." Philippians 4:8.
You must reject the idea of the world mind that limitations and lack are FACTS of life. Limitation and lack don't have to be the facts of your life. If they are, YOU have originated them, YOU have caused them by the thoughts in your own mind.
When you change the way you think about yourself, you will replace limitation with abundance, you will replace lack with plenty.
If you have the negative belief that you do not have the power within you to experience the prosperity you desire, you must change that belief. Come to know that through the Presence of God (who lives in you, with you, for you, and through you) you already have the power to change your conditions and to better your life.
That will cause your thinking to change from the negative to the positive, which means your life will change and you will experience the good you desire. Not tomorrow, not next year, not "Someday," but right here and right now! You will see that you don't have to wait for somebody else or something else or sometime else to overcome your conditions.
Another prosperous habit is to make every day a new beginning and keep re-examining your thinking, beliefs, and attitudes.
"As a man thinks in his heart (the subconscious mind), so is he." Proverbs 23:7
That means our beliefs shape our destiny, and play a decisive role! It is dangerous to think negatively of oneself!
If you are experiencing limitations of some kind or you are not prospering as you would like, examine the thoughts and beliefs in your mind. Start greeting each and every day with the attitude that today is the day some good is going to happen to you! By believing in yourself positively and correctly, you can make every day a good day!
