Two Essential Rules for Becoming Successful in Your Career
It does not matter what you want to do, whether start your own business, apply for jobs, or become self employed, here are two essential rules to become successful in your career
Rule No. 1.
Don’t listen to people who tell you that it is going to be easy. Success is hard to come. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to become successful. You will frequently hear people that you need to work smarter and not harder. Well, this will work only when you have done a lot of hard work to become a smart worker.
Rule No. 2
Learn skills. You should always upgrade with better skills, and additional skills because you never know when you are going to need them.
How to Build Your LinkedIn Profile to Build Your Career
Social media helps you to build your online visibility. However, not all social sites are equally created. While Facebook might be the most uses social media site, it might not help you in your career development just like LinkedIn. Sadly, a lot of people are not even using LinkedIn, let alone understanding the power of LinkedIn to build your career.
After joining LinkedIn, start building your connection. So, how do you do it?
Find your best friend on LinkedIn and connect with him or her. Look for your high school friends, your past and current co-workers, colleagues, college professionals, and teachers, people you have never talked to but know them well. You are in the center and all of these people in your connections will help you build your networking prowess.
Before you start building your connections, you need to provide your resume on LinkedIn. While you can be “ax789” on Tiktok, on LinkedIn you should always use your true identity because you are not only networking but also trying to build your career. It is very important that you share your real information. When I say real information, I don’t mean you should share your phone number and personal email.
You should also continue to share useful and interesting content and continue to build your connections.

Career Building Tips for Women
It is really difficult for a woman to have a career ad a family at the same time. No matter where you live, society is still male dominant and the male dominant society puts a lot of pressure on women when it comes to managing the family. Women are responsible for looking after kids, doing chores, etc. However, if you have a supportive spouse, who not only respects your work but also takes a fair share of household work, you can easily develop a career despite having a family. If your spouse can get the kids ready for school all the while you cook food, or if your spouse does the dishes while you are moping the floor, you can easily juggle between your professional and personal life. If your spouse does not help you with your household work, it will be extremely difficult to manage your family and work.
Women can be involved in any kind of profession they want to be provided they have the skills and knowledge to do it. Women are working in NASA, women are running the governments in many countries, women running big businesses, and women are even in the army and police, which once was considered only a man's job. It is true that women are still not on equal footing with men and in many professions, women are yet not in the leading positions, however, this does not mean women are inferior to men. No job is reserved for any gender. Women can be in any profession
What is the Best Career for Women?
You can see discussions on whether men are better than women in doing certain tasks on various forums. Some discussions are aimed at finding the best job for women or the best business for women. You can see people suggesting that professions like, fashion designing, sewing, hairdressing, beautician, etc. are good for women. If you look at these discussions, you will see most people believe that women are good at doing only those things that the traditional society has thought them to be better. I do not think professions are gender based. You will have to see a lot of things to determine what is good for what kind of people. A lot of people believe women are physically weak so that cannot work on jobs that demand power but look at the wrestlers and body builders, do you really think women are weak?
Women can work on any jobs provided they had skills and knowledge to do it.
Making Money as a Stay-at-Home Woman
A lot of people label women stay at home women as housewives. I have a problem with the word housewives, if you term a woman who cooks food, cleans house, takes care of hubby and kids but does not go to work, a housewife, what would you call a man who stays home and does not go to work, a househusbands I think the proper word for women who don't go to work but work in managing the home is a homemaker. Depending on their education level and knowledge these women can do a lot of things. One of the easiest things is creating video content about their daily life which includes cooking advice, recipe videos, decoration tip, child care tips, and husband management tips (sounds funny, right, but can actually be a good topic for video content). It takes time, but once your views begin to grow, you will earn a lot of money from your video content. Creating handicrafts and selling them online is also a good option.
I don't believe in gender-based roles, I don't think jobs are specifically designed for certain genders. Well, nature has given specific roles to males and females, for example, only females can give birth and only females can breastfeed their babies (this, also has been challenged by the development in science and technology), however, in the job market there are no jobs that only females can do and no jobs only male can do. There was a time when it was considered that women should stay at home and men should go to work, but these days nobody believes in this kind of thing. If you look into the fashion industry, you will see men also working as make-up artists, hair designers, etc. (traditionally, make-up and hair was considered women's job). You can see women working in the army and police (traditionally, security, battle, and war were considered the job for men).
I do not like to use the word housewives, this is gender-biased work. The word refers to married women who stay home doing nothing. However, this is not correct. Married women who stay at home, work more than the men who go to work. That's because women work from dawn to dusk to manage the household tasks. The better word for these women is a homemaker. These women have a lot of skills that they can use to make money. For example, 99 percent of homemakers are good cooks, they can prepare a lot of dishes. These women can start selling foods online. If they find this work complicated, they can try creating cooking and recipe videos and start monetizing their videos. Homemakers might also be good at gardening, knitting, fabric painting, sewing, etc. All of these skills can be monetized. The best thing is you don't even have to spend money to make money.
Women who stay at home might also be college graduate, they might already have professional skills. They can use their skills to make money as a freelancer. Basic skill with English language can help people to earn as a freelancer provided they have professional skill. Not all freelancing jobs are reserved for those who have professional level English skills. A lot of stay-at-home women are very good content creator, especially video content (you can go to TikTok and check them). These women can work as video content creators and help businesses market their products and services or even build social media pages or manage social media accounts.
Man Vs. Woman: Who is a Better Marketer
I do not think careers are reserved for genders, any gender can attempt any career. Whether the person becomes successful or not depends on his or her skills, knowledge, and persistence. Women can become successful as a gamer, programmer, a website designer, and ecommerce which were originally thought to be the jobs meant for men. Likewise, men can also become successful in fashion designing, hair and makeup, cooking and things like these where women were originally placed.
Interestingly, it is easier for a certain gender to excel in certain profession. For instance, if you check social media influencer, you will see women performing better than men.
Generally speaking, women are thought to be better marketer. There are three reasons:
The audience is men and men tend to pay attention when the marketer is a woman
Women have the natural power of persuasion.
Women appear attractive to both genders.
However, it is also true that to be a better marketer, marketing skills are also required. I believe women can even become better marketers because they have persuasive power.
