Dracula

By Szkjanos | nannipage | 26 Jan 2021

Dracula is a fictional character, created by Bram Stoker. It was inspired by the real historical character Vlad Țepeș.

In many books Vlad Țepeș is described as a monster, a vampire who drinks human blood, a great lover of cruelty, a bloody tyrant.

At school in history classes, because it was didactic material, I learned similar things ... I wasn't worried about drinking human blood, but it was extremely cruel to the dishonest. His main punishment was stabbing.

He was received into the Order of the Dragon. The order - which can be compared to that of the Knights of Malta or that of the Teutonic Knights - was a military-religious society that was founded by Sigismund of Luxembourg.

He was born in Sighisoara, a medieval town in the heart of Transylvania, which is still inhabited at this time.

On this commemorative plaque it reads as follows:

,, He lived in this house between 1431-1435

VLAD THE DEVIL son of Mircea cel Batran ,,

So, the Dracula was born in 1431. He was the ruler of Wallachia between the years: 1448, 1456-1462 and 1476. He died on 14 Dec 1476.
