Last night, i was thinking about what is the best strategy, and the most effective way of staking crypto or stablecoins on crypto.com.
Well, the most value you get is when you stake your coins for 3 months.
For this example, i will be doing it with stablecoin USDC and less than 400 CRO staked, which is my case.
When you stake USDC for 3 months with less then 400 CRO staked, you will get 10% p.a.
When you have 750 USD, stake 250 for 3 months, 500 for 1 month.
After first month, stake 250 from that 1 month + all the earnings for 3 months and remaining 250 for 1 month.
After second month, stake that last 250 + earnings for 3 months.
First month :
250 -> 1,92 (1/3 months locked)
500 -> 3,08 (1/1 month locked)
Second month :
250 -> 1,92 (2/3 months locked)
250 + 5 -> 1,96 (1/3 months locked)
250 -> 1,52 (1/1 month locked)
Third month :
250 -> 1,92 (3/3 months locked)
250 + 5 -> 1,96 (2/3 months locked)
250 + 5,4 - > 1,964 (1/3 months locked)
Fourth month :
250 + 5 -> 1,96 (3/3 months locked)
250 + 5,4 - > 1,964 (2/3 months locked)
Second time - > 250 + 5,844 (1/3 months locked)
First 3 months, it would be better to just let 750 stake for 3 months but after that, compound interest starts doing it´s thing.
Now you are in a point, where you can stake your earnings each month, you can withdraw then piece by piece so you are not stuck waiting 3 months for them and you are basically staking your earnings. The more you do this, the more you earn. And USDC = USD so it is basically as your savings account, but apy on savings accounts are nowadays so low, that it doesn´t even make sense to have money just dissapearing by inflation from there.
You can also scale it up by staking 250 each week, so this would be the most effective one. But you would need atleast 3000 USD.
You can do each 2 weeks/15 days. Then you would need 1500 USD.
It wouldn´t make you milionaire now but in a long run, it really helps.
If you do it for example with bitcoin, ethereum or CRO, the price of it could rise and rise and those tiny earnings from staking your earnings could be worth much much more.
