One of the things you'll notice in the cryptosphere is the immense amount of knowledge and talent of the individuals that are working on these projects.

For Tezos, Arthur Breitman is one of those crypto geniuses and his appointment to the Foundation portends a good future for the blockchain network. Arthur was an early architect of Tezos and is an ardent supporter. His background includes work at Google X, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley.

A criticism the Tezos community has had of the Tezos Foundation is its slow movement, and lack of promotion, in comparison with other cryptos such as Cardano. With Arthur, the community believes that these issues will be addressed.  

In a press release, the Foundation stated: 

“As an original architect of Tezos, no one has a deeper understanding of the opportunities the protocol presents,” said Hubertus Thonhauser, Chair of the Tezos Foundation Council. We are thrilled to have Arthur on board in this capacity where his technical expertise and unparalleled knowledge can inform the council and help fulfill the Foundation’s mission.”
