Covid 19 - Superspreading - Spain to UK
A day before my flight my son had a a mild fever that we assumed was just a cold. We were not keen on testing our young son for Covid-19 as the test is horrible for such a young child. The next day I flew to London. On the bus to the airport I wore a mask as it is still a legal requirement. I did not take a covid 19 test before travelling as it is no longer a legal requirement when entering the UK.
Due to the rail strikes I was stuck at a very bizzy airport over night.

In very close proximity to a lot of people. I then took the train to my destination where i was also very close to a lot of people. My girlfriend called me to say that my son had caught Covid 19. I decided to take a test and to my surprise i also had it. I potentially infected hundreds of people with 14 people who I had close contact with before testing positive were now positive.
I am not vaccinated agaist Covid 19 neither is my family. My family are very healthy and I have not had any health problems apart from training injuries most of my life. I have had alergic réactions to a number of common medicines in the past. I thought the symptoms would be much worse. The first day I had chills but, it felt worse because my apartment has not dropped below 27 ° for several weeks and the British climate is very cold. The second day I had musle aches. By the third day despite still being infected I felt 100 %. In fact it was milder than most colds i had had in the past.
I was concerned that I would not be able to return home as it is a legal requirement to either be vaccinated, have recovered or tested negative to enter Spain. Fortunately I had tested negative on the day of my flight.
My girlfriend had close contact with my two children who both had covid 19. But, for some reason she did not catch it. I can only assume that she is naturally immune.
PLEASE NOTE I WOULD NEVER TRAVEL OR NOT ISOLATE HAD I KNOWN I HAD COVID 19 EVEN IF IT WAS NOT A LEGAL REQUIREMENT
