I Am (9/6/2007)

By Kuskiko | Lifetime Poetry | 16 Aug 2020

I am a daughter and a sister who loves my family.

I wonder what the earth will be like in the future.

I hear a voice whispering in the wind outside my window.

I see the world around me and wonder what’s really going on.

I want to go to Japan and be adventurous.

I am a daughter and a sister who loves my family.

I pretend to be swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.

I feel the weight of the world crushing me.

I touch the world, the planets, and the whole universe.

I worry about all the little orphan kids and my family.

I cry for all the deaths because of unknown disease.

I am a daughter and a sister who loves my family.

I understand the pain our world is going through.

I say we need to resolve our problems and stop the war.

I dream of being in a world without pain, suffering, death, or war.

I try to help the poor and all the orphan children.

I hope one day mankind will get along and stop fighting.

I am a daughter and a sister who loves my family.

This is some personal poetry I wrote throughout the years. Some are very dark and sensitive from a bad time in my past, this is not how I am now though.
