This morning was like any other morning for me. I woke up, checked my portfolio prices, then moved on to checking twitter and finally went to Coinbase. Once arriving at Coinbase's exchange website I was very happy to see that they are now offering Coinbase Earn for Compound (COMP).
Within the last few weeks Compound has been the buzz coin word within the industry, leading people to become even more hyped for DeFi and also the very new Yield Farming.
Up to this point I haven't invested anything into Compound, I have been waiting for the recent price surge to wear off before I even consider about investing in it, but my interest was there for it and wanted to learn more. Well this opportunity was the perfect chance for me. At this point they offer $9.00 worth of Compound, not too large of an amount, but it is free, and if you don't want compound you can always transfer that into any other coin of your choice.
If you are unfamiliar with Coinbase Earn; it is pretty fantastic in my opinion as a great learning tool. Coinbase will offer a few educational videos about the coin, and all you need to do is to watch the video which is usually around 3 minutes long. After the video just answer 1 quick question pertaining to what you just watched and if correct you will have just instantly earned free COMP. They have 3 COMP videos right now, each netting you $3.00 each in the coin. It's a nice way to be able to get your feet wet, and try the coin or market!
Not only that, but if you are new to Coinbase Earn, (haven't completed any of the other offers) there are several other coin earning opportunities for you as well. If you take part in all the videos, and perform some of the tasks, (inviting a friend/downloading Brave Browser etc,) you can earn upwards of $100-200, depending on how much you do. It is a great way to earn some free coins!
If you are interested, be sure to check it out here.
(I would like to add that this is my experience as an USA Coinbase user, and if you are an international user the experience could possibly differ.)
Let me know if you were able to get some free COMP!
As always, thank you for reading!
