Interview With a Day Trader

By AX17 | figurehowtowrite | 26 Jul 2023

The bellow discussion was recorded in 2019, a time when I was learning a lot and had a chance to have these questions by a person I admire tremendously. It was pretty hard to get the answers from this crypto day trader, but it was worth it. Under anonymity, here I share trader’s answers to random questions:

Q: Are you an experienced stock trader?

A: No.

Q: How you decided to trade crypto assets?

A: I started to mine and the more I learned about blockchain, the more it made sense to do day trade.

Q: Since when you do day trading?

A: Officially, since June 2017 — but it was on a loss for a while.

Q: Since when you started to trade on a profit?

A: Since September 2018.

Q: How much profit you do daily from trades?

A: Approximately 0.02 BTC profit / day.

Q: Would you share details about your trading techniques with the rest of us?

A: No.

Q: Would you share some general aspect(s) of your day trading technique?

A: Patience and a lot of hard work.

Q: Do you have a full day time job?

A: Yes.

Q: How much time you spend daily on trading?

A: 6–8 hours/day.

Q: Do you sleep at nights?

Q: Yes.

Q: Do you have a favorite crypto/Bitcoin publication e.g.: Bitcoin Magazine?

A: No.

Q: What is your favorite desert?

A: Tapioca pudding.

Q: Do you still mine?

A: No.

The person interviewed is real and in case you have more questions, I will to my best to interview again and supply you the answers.
