Derek's CryptoMusic #6

Last post I brought you the work of Hiroshi Yoshimura. Amazing work right?

This time I am showcasing one of my favorite bands: Tycho

Scott Hansen, born in 1977, is an American musician, composer, songwriter and producer from San Francisco. I discovered his graphic design work long ago, with his alias ISO50, around the year 2000. Since then Ive been following his creative adventures.

You can check this side of his work at http://blog.iso50.com

Scott started releasing music as Tycho around 2006, with his first album 'Past is Prologue'. Since then Ive been hooked on all the releases. Tycho's music is a nice blend of downtempo guitar, analog synths and ambient elements.

Hope you enjoy his work as much as I do, its perfect to get creative, tidy up the house, while cooking or maybe just chilling and letting your thoughts travel :)

Tycho Live @ Sziget 2017

If you are curious, here you can see them performing live. For a long time I thought Tycho was all computer made, to my surprise they can play their tracks live which, for me, makes the project even more amazing!

Enjoy and leave a message if you want! :)
