As you may or may not know, I am in self-isolation because a person in my class tested positive for the Rona (coronavirus/covid-19.) Anyway, below, I summarize how my day went.
Waking up: I woke up at my normal time, 7:15, 1 hour and 30 minutes before my class started. I didn't want to wake up that early, but I did anyway. From tomorrow, I will wake up at 8 AM (because all I really have to do in the mornings when I have online school is wake up, eat, and turn on a computer.) I ate what I normally eat on Tuesdays, cereal. I ate frosted flakes (by Kelloggs) and honeycomb (by Post). What do you put in first? The cereal or the milk? I put the table, then the bowl. Smort. Then, since I had quite a bit of spare time, I read like 20 pages of The Martian. Then I turned on my computer and started online school.
Online School: Boring like usual. Nothing very interesting happened. In English, we wrote our own anecdote, which is a real-life experience of your life. Here it is:
July 21, 2019. The day of the soccer finals. A very large city team, competing against a team from a small town, that had many members of their team missing (or having a broken leg, like Porter Jarvis, pictured above.) Even though it was only 1 hour and 30 minutes, it felt like a billion. The previous game against this team, they only won by a slight margin. Back to this game, the first goal scored in the game was by the opposing team, the team we don't want to win (because we are cheering on our hometown’s team.) It seemed like the ball was a feather as it sailed into the net. By halftime, the tables had turned, and the team from the small town, Strathmore, was winning, 5-1.The team had a great win, 8-4. The Strathmore Minor Spurs had won the city championships. It felt great for the boys, who got to squirt their assistant coach with water at the end. The boys hadn’t felt so good in a thousand years. It felt like a dream for them. They also had an end-of-season barbeque, which they would only get if they won the championship, which they did, so they had a fun time at the end. They also got to play a game between the coaches and parents versus the kids. The kids (obviously) won.
In math, we are again doing equivalent fractions. In science, we are prepping for a unit exam. In social we are studying some topic (I forgot it.)
Evening: Watching TV, getting memes from Reddit, answering a few questions on Quora, looking for and ordering free samples, biking, playing basketball, and playing games on rollercoin were most of the things that I did during my evening. I also ate dinner (obviously.) I found out that school will be closed (in my state) until May the 25th.
Thank you for seeing my "journal!" I will a new one every day that I am quarantined. I am quarantined until May the 6th. Only ten days. It makes me happy to tell people what I am doing throughout my day.
BTW I don't have covid yet. I have no symptoms either.
May the forth be with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
