As the use of crypto becomes widely understood and accepted, more and more crypto related innovations are taking shape. Of late, these include the tying of traditional financial solutions to the use of crypto and crypto related services like Decentralized finance (Defi). Crypto exchanges like Binance initially allowed one to perform traditional financial activities like booking a flight, a hotel or sending gift cards using cryptocurrency, those were basically the most accepted external use of cryptocurrency. But in France, Binance and a credit processing company called Ingenico have decided to take things further by performing a try-out of in-store cryptocurrency payments. Binance has over 120 million registered users, from which those in France will be able to pay for their in-store purchases using 50 cryptocurrencies via Binance Pay. This is still a new development that is being tested, and it is at the moment available in France alone. Now isn't this a cool development? Leave a thumbs up if you think this try-out should be rolled out in your country as well.
