Whattup cryptolords! There’s been a few entries on this blog now, but none directly related to what I know most of us are here to read about - cryptocurrency. Well today we’re gonna change that. Dip scaring you? Hands shaking, feeling weak? Keep on holding and remind yourself not to let go with these delicious Bitcoin cookies!!
Chopstick or similar sharp, pencil-like tool
3 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Butter
1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 tsp Almond Extract
1/2 tsp Yellow Food Coloring
Take out your first bowl and mix together the flour and baking powder. Whisk it up really good, mix it like a Bitcoin mixer cleaning your funds ;)
In a separate bowl, blend together the butter and sugar until the mixture is nice and creamy. C.R.E.A.M.y, even.
Add the eggs in and thoroughly mix.
In your main bowl (the creamy eggy one) add your vanilla and almond extracts and thoroughly mix it all together. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients, mixing still.
Take your dough out of the bowl and knead it on a lightly floured cutting board, rolling it out into a king, cylindrical shape. This cylinder should be 2-3 inches in diameter.
Refrigerate your dough for at least two hours. A few ideas on what to do during this period:
- watch pump and dump “investment” tiktoks
- think about how much money you’d have if you started hodling in 2014; physically assault your couch
- watch Taxi Driver (1976) starring Robert DeNiro, directed by Martin Scorsese
Once your dough is ready, pull that dough cylinder out of the fridge and put it on a (cleaned) cutting board. Cut the cylinder into 1/4 inch thick discs.
Place each disc down flat on a baking sheet and use your tool (chopstick, kebab skewers, toothpick, etc) to draw in a nice Bitcoin design!
Bake at 350° F for 12 minutes, then cool and serve! Enjoy munching your satoshis!
